Cars at the 1951 Festival of Britain

The "All that's best in Britain" advertising campaign for the Standard Vanguard, Triumph Mayflower and Triumph Renown was heavily featured on the front covers of "The Autocar" and "The Motor" magazines between January and August 1951.

* The Standard Vanguard's appearance on the front cover of "The Motor" on the 18th July 1951 was literally the day after the car itself went on display at the South Bank Exhibition's Transport Pavillion from the 17th July to the 4th August, 1951.
